Camp Nyoda:  a place where girls like who they are.

This is something that we strive for with every girl that becomes part of our Nyoda family.

We understand the challenges that girls face and that it is all to easy for them to question their self-worth.

Girls, in particular, feel social competition very keenly, and it starts so early! Combined with academic pressures, sports, and navigating the social world, a girl can so easily lose sight of the wonderful person that she is.

At Nyoda we deliberately and intentionally try to counterbalance this.

We believe Camp is a place where every girl should make wonderful memories, laugh a lot, and discover who she is and just how much she can do.

Our mission is to send home a girl who has grown in skills, self-confidence, independence, and thoughtfulness.

We have been successful at doing this for over 100 years and we trust that our counselors and staff are united in wanting this goal for each camper.

At Nyoda we believe the spirit needs to be nurtured and appreciated and we strive to provide an environment where that can happen for every girl.

We also believe that childhood is short, and needs to be filled with excitement and wonderful experiences.

We would be honored to be part of your daughter's childhood.

We will treasure her, listen to her, encourage her, and surround her with friends and opportunities to grow in many ways.
